It's difficult for me to say. Personally, I didn't like any of his music, but a lot of people did. For me, he is overrated. Others will think differently though. I think he is credited for more than he deserved, though.

I don't think any artists are truly overrated. They are rated as highly as they are hold in esteem by the public and obviously a lot of people think that Michael has done a lot of thinks to deserve their esteem. In my personal opinion though, well, I don't like him as much as many other people do.

Let's really not get into how much The Beatles **** on Michael.

Michael is an amazing performer, dancer, singer, etc. But Saying Michael > The Beatles is like saying Gaga > Michael

He's overrated because he died at an early age. In about 10 years he probably won't be anymore, tho.
