She didn't even do that with Bad Romance which was iconic, why would she do that with a lets-rush-a-new-single-out-cos-judas-is-flopping kind of single? The single isn't even worthy of a #1 imho, or any song on her album for that matter.

Anyway, these last minute remixes have been done to boost peaks. To achieve something, Britney got a Top 5 with TTWE, Rih&Brit got a #1 and Katy thinks she's getting a number 1 also. Gaga wouldn't really get anything, TEOG was never going number 1, and Judas was Judas. BTW did have a lot of remixes, more than likely to extend its stay at the top. It's not because she's "above" remixes.

How are remixes related to having class?

LFN, TTWE and S&M were backed-up by remixes because they lacked proper promo in the U.S. Now tell me how is that anymore or less classy than gaga performing on every tv show known to man to promote her album and singles?
