He's not trying to be homophobic, they should just drop it.
Granted, Chris isn't trying to be homophobic, but we live in a culture where using gay slurs are frowned upon and could possibly ruin someone's career.
Chris better get with the times, otherwise he's going to stay relegated on those local R&B charts for the remainder of his career.
As if his anger problems and penchant for using trashy language has nothing to do with it.
As if EVERY man who plays basketball doesn't use foul language and get upset when the game goes in another direction.
As if every member on ATRL doesn't act a mess when their fave is being attacked.
As if POPULAR WHITE PUBLICATIONS haven't been trying it with Chris Brown with every move he makes since he shuffled Rihanna in the car that night. They find anything to make him look worse and worse to the public.
and just on my opinion, I don't think they should call him a homophobic, he was just playing basketball and I understand that sometimes they get "in the moment" and get a lil irate. Just cause I posted it, doesn't mean I agree with it
EDIT: the press would have done the same thing if A white celeb used the N word in public. They would probably call him/her a racist.
I just can't with can't with some of these comments, I'm sorry...I don't even want to get into it
I don't think he is homophobic, but people really need to be more aware of what they are saying, joking or not, it's never right to me. I've been heated, and never in my life have I said a slur or even "that's so gay".

I'm gonna need you to do some research before you open that trap.

As predicted, Chris Brown achieves his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart as "F.A.M.E." bows atop the tally with 270,000 sold according to Nielsen SoundScan.
"F.A.M.E." is his fourth top 10 album, following his self-titled debut (No. 2, 2005), "Exclusive" (No. 4, 2007) and "Graffiti" (No. 7, 2009). "F.A.M.E.'s" start also marks the singer's second-best sales week -- only "Exclusive's" 294,000 bow was bigger.
You'd think that after his career has been reduced to mix tapes and 106 & Park he'd learn to not be such an idiot. Oh well, he's always got EBT Awards 2012 to look forward to.

Yeah, he just scratched, spat at, and slapped a goddess, he just blew up on GMA, he's just been a hypocrite. Let's move on gurls.

No, every man who uses basketball does not use foul language when the game goes in a different direction.
No, every member on this site doesn't resort to nonsensical shenanigans whenever their favorite artist isn't attacked.
And if Chris wasn't giving those "POPULAR WHITE PUBLICATIONS' a reason to create stories about it, they wouldn't be coming for him so much.
Chris is in the public spotlight and a self-proclaimed role-model and whether he or his fans like it, he is held to higher standard. If he ever wants to be at the top of the industry, a la his idol Michael Jackson, he's going to have to act accordingly.
