As I was saying the other day...
The difference between Lady Gaga and Ke$ha is that Gaga has always talked about these issues, even before she was famous. She didn't wait for people to die and for it to become a media obsession to lend her name to the cause. The problem is that she overdoes it now to the point that it's annoying.
Ke$ha never mentioned any of these issues, only talked about how it's fun to party and **** hard...and then AFTER the media jumped on something like the gay suicides, she dedicated a stupid mindless party song to them saying it's about embracing your identity. She did it to just to add her name to the cause now that the media had latched on to it - purely for her own benefit. If I'd had respect for her, I would have lost it after that. But I always know better.
So, while Gaga does do it for her own benefit, she has more tact than some of of these other pop stars.
