Why? Europe combined is bigger than US market, and Japanese market is gaining on the US market for years now.
Europe is the biggest market as a continent, and Japan will be bigger than US soon, which means that labels will be getting most of their profit from markets outside of the US. Why would you only be here for the US?

You can't compare a country of 300 million to one of 60 million or so equally so therefore looking at the comparable populations of both the US and Europe, EUROPE is the BIGGER market!
