He has virtually the same certs despite having sales in the 70s when tracking was poorer. I don't know his sales breakdown well enough, but it's entirely possible he has sold more records.

RW has sold 45 million albums in Europe alone.

He has sold 56 million albums worldwide and 25 million singles (=81 million records sold).

According to IFPI, Taylor has sold 170M records but that was as of February 2015 (Shake It Off and Blank Space were still smashing that time and Style, Bad Blood and Wildest Dreams were not even been released as single yet).

I think she's around 190M-200M records right now and the fact she's just released a new soundtrack (which on track to be a global smash).
