If she wanted to continue Perfect Illusion, I have a treatment for her
Quote:
A scene of her walking in the desert with her guitar, with the setting sun behind her. Really wide angles to show off the scenery, but also some closer shots. She's alone, she's tired, looking all around to find someone but she's also performing the song. Then she finds a road, she tries to hitchhike, but no one stops.
Intercut with her playing in a bar in the middle of the night with only like 2 people still left, on of them is half asleep and not even paying attention to her. Then she gets fed up and walks out and plays outside, looks like Nashville (with the neon lights) or whatever, but a crowd never gathers, people just pass her. She continues playing anyway.
Intercut with footage of her holding the person she's singing about in her home, we never see their face, only hers (in close up). The wide shot shows us looking through an open front door (the camera rolling). She tries to to get them to respond, but they never hug her back. Then she walks away and leaves. We're left with a shot of that person alone in their apartment. The door never closes.
At the end, in the desert, she drops down to her knees and sings to God like she's praying and a car pulls over in the back of the shot (but it's out of focus) and a group of young girls huddle around her and help her up and hug her (like in the video), she breaks down and then the video ends with a close up of her face (the exact same as the one in the apartment) while she's holding the girls looking out at the sunset. Music stops. You hear the wind and a sigh of relief. Fade to black. FIN.

This would not have cost that much

and it's far more interesting than what we got.
