The comeback single from Nelly Furtado did not disappoint. While it wasn't the Timbaland infused smashes we expect from her, it was still an enjoyable and fun alternative bop.
239. Enemiez (feat. Jeremih) - Keke Palmer
This ultimately scrapped lead single from Keke Palmer brought us the Janet Jackson demo that I never knew I needed. While she's channeling her inner Jackson it brings us one of our best 70s-influenced tracks of 2016.
238. Imaginary Friend - Tove Lo
This sweet and savoury track from Tove Lo while with childish lyrics it really feels nostalgic and overall well... cute. With a chorus you can't help but chant it makes its way on my Top 200 list!
237. WTF Love Is - Tove Lo
This Tove Lo track initially sounds like a Banks song, but it indeed is not. With a really fun chorus and rhythmic and sexy verses Lo tells us WTF Love Is.
236. Where Would I Be? - Gwen Stefani
This tropical sounding song from Gwen Stefani brings us one of her most cheery and happy songs from her yet. It feels very radio-ready and screams "hit song" to me.
235. Sidewalks (feat. Kendrick Lamar) - The Weeknd
This very autobiographical track from The Weeknd really showcases his lyrical talent starting with a powerful lyric "I ran out of tears when I was eighteen." Definietly one of the most relatable songs of this year to me.
234. Greedy - Ariana Grande
This almost Broadway-like sounding track makes itself onto the Top 250. With killer adlibs, killer vocals and a massacre of fun cinematic Moulin Rouge-like instrumental I almost feel greedy asking for more of this type of Ariana music.
233. Dopemang (feat. Ashley AllDay) - Kiiara
This urban influenced lead single off of Kiiara's upcoming album is not anything close to what we imagined from her, but I love it. While a very ratchet song that I can see myself drinking lean to in the summer it stands out for all of the "ghetto girls" out there.
232. Drum - MO
While not the strongest effort from MO, it is still a very cute and tropical song from her. I am a huge fan of the verses and the interesting intro. Makes for fun at predrinks.
231. Nasty - Brooke Candy
While something out of the ordinary from Miss.Candy, it is not bad at all. With a catchy instrumental, this is one of the most sweet releases of the candywoman herself.
This naughty song from Stefani shows as a standout from her latest album, while being dirty and raunchy Stefani keeps it subtle to an innuendo and makes one of the most scandalous tracks of 2016.
229. Lose - Travi$ Scott
This track shows as one of the best of Scott's discography almost instantly, while being assisted from vocals of Cassie it shows to be one of his most sensual songs ever.
228. Fried Chicken @ Night - Neon Hitch
This weird and quirky song inititally from the title seems like a joke-song... and well, it is. But it's very addictive and the hypnotic production really gets you enticed into the gypsy goddess's dizzying chorus.
227. Who Do You Think Of? - M.O.
This song comes from M.O. but not the one I previously had in my list. This girl band comes strong with their debut UK-hit and it's very impressive and keeps me wanting more from them. With odd echo effects it really puts the icing on the cake to make it stand out in 2016.
226. Super Natural (feat. Carly Rae Jepsen) - Danny L Harle
For the first time ever Carly Rae Jepsen dabbles into the world of PC Music, and it doesn't come out quite bad. This magical and beautiful sounding song really shows the definition of bubblegum pop.
225. Broken Record - Krewella
This loud and thrashy EDM track from Krewella proves to become an alkie's dream track from them. With soft radio-ready verses Krewella tricks us and shows us with the drop they are coming with their loud stereoscopic sound just like before.
224. BOOMBAYAH - BLACKPINK
This viral track from upcoming K-POP group instantly caught my attention as it was the first song I had ever heard using advanced 3D sound technology, with mindblowing technology and becoming one of the greatest workout songs of the year, it had to make this list.
223. I Would Like - Zara Larsson
This fun heavily dancehall inspired song from Zara Larsson really continues to follow suit with her trend of doing black-inspired music. While being dance-ready and really fun, it just keeps me more and more excited for what she has to come.
222. Go Off - M.I.A
This crazy Skrillex-produced song stands out on M.I.A's latest LP "AIM". With a loud and bass-heavy production, it really is one of the best songs to play in the car on a long drive. With head-thumping production M.I.A really returns with her crazy risk-taking music.
221. 3 Wayz (feat. Travi$ Scott) - Ty Dolla $ign
This slow and chill track from two of the biggest names in rap this year bring us yet another great song to smoke weed to. While not being one of the biggest songs to hear at the hottest parties, it was a great song to just relax to.
