I read somewhere that a no vote could improve support for the right-wing party and maybe lead to their election,is that likely ?

Yes, sadly. It's a mess here, even people from left-wing are voting no

Literally only people aged 50 or older, or uneducated people who only vote because they dislike Renzi, will vote NO in Italy. And unfortunately that's far too many people. Back in 2010 with Monti everyone was calling for a constitutional reform, and now that we have it, the opposition of course did anything to make it sound unacceptable. Because, after all, in Italy the only purpose of the opposition is to say no to whatever the ruling party/coalition proposes, sensible or not. I hope we won't be stuck with that obsolete constitution for long because it really needs to change.

If Norbert Hofer from the right-wing Freedom Party of Austria (FPO) wins today's presidential runoff, it will mean that Russia and the United States may revive ties and move away from the Cold War, FPO head Heinz-Christian Strache told Sputnik Germany.

With or without their win, that's happening. Putin has been pushing for the rise of these populist movements.

No, Norbert Hofer lost. Van der Bellen (Green Party) won the first election.

Doesn't Italy get all of it's money from the EU, though? Why would they leave then? This sounds ignorant because I am. I literally don't know. I could be a misconception.

At university, literally 90% of my course is voting yes, and so are most of my friends, but I know this girl who said "io voto no almeno Renzi ci rimane di merda" and I fear several people voted like her

We aren't getting much from the EU, but we aren't leaving anyway. The only ones that want to leave are the eejits of Lega Nord who also want the north of the country to be independent. Delusional idiots

What. Stupid comment
Germany is the only one stabilizing the Union as y'all in France and Italy make a mockery of the system with your FN and 5SM, and ofc in Spain with their messy twice-a-year elections
When we leave, Germany (+ the Nordics, Benelux) will be the only sane voice left

I don't know about you, but in the west of Europe there's generally a very unfavorable opinion on Russia, and we'd rather stay as far as possible from that type of dictatorship they have.

Well, as far as we're concerned, democrats are anti-Russia. The moderate republicans are anti-Russia. The far right, the right and the far left are all pro-Russia.
That being said, Putin supports anything that'd weaken Europe because that's something that'd work for him.
