Fireworks happen every single year & don't result in thousands or even ten of thousands of bird & fish deaths. This has never happened before. That's some real b.s. right there.
It can't be a terrorist attack, they're not that smart. Even if they were spreading chemicals in the air, biochemical weapons are very airborne and would spread in matter of minutes killing everybody in the area.
