There is literally nothing religious about the way society treats Christmas anymore, though.
I hate Christianity but that's only because I grew up with it. Islam and Judaism are pretty similar to it and have ignorant people also so it makes no sense why only Christians get lashed nowadays
I'm not sure if you're looking for a serious answer, but whatever. I personally don't mind people making fun of/insulting Christianity because it's been the dominant religion and one of the biggest cultural influences in western countries for a really long time. It has been a major motivation behind many traditions and laws throughout western history, as well as influencing other countries that might now even be predominantly Christian. Christianity has a position of power in many countries, which is often used to implement homophobia, racism and sexism on a structural level.
Other religions don't have this position (in the west), and can definitely be seen as a source of discrimination. Anti-semitism has always been a very visible example of this, but it happens with Islam as well (despite what ATRL's anti-SJWs think). I'm an atheist personally, and I think it's extremely important to criticize organized religion, but criticism of non-christian religions often goes hand-in-hand with racist, xenophobic or otherwise discriminatory rhetoric. So while I definitely think it's important to be critical of religion in general, you have to be careful as to how this criticism is presented towards non-christian religions. This simply isn't the case with Christianity as it has a more powerful position (in the west).
That being said, I don't really like the way some atheists talk about Christianity online and I try not to be the same way. Criticism is good, but making fun of something that is obviously important to so many people isn't really my thing.
It is okay to insult any religion or ideology you want to bash or make fun of. The only difference is, Christians won't refer to you as a "racist" when you criticize their ideology. They just happen to be slightly more open-minded, sane, and more often than not refrain from bombing and assassinating newspapers/journalists who make fun of their religion.
Trashing religion is no different from bashing communism, for example. Both are a set of ideologies and personal beliefs.

Because most non-Christians criticize the religion and behaviors of select followers while xenophobic Christians usually attack the people as some monolithic collective. The criticisms against Christianity are far softer than the current "Let's ban Muslims from entering the country" that the far right are currently employing.
