I get appealing to radio, but the go-to urban singles of 10 years ago vs. 5 years ago vs. now are soooo drastically different in terms of quality. I especially hate that a songwriter like her has to dumb down her lyrics so much

I don't get it. She needs a song like "Motivation" not this dumb ****. Or rather, urban needs to encourage songs like that again.
