Yes, Hardcore is a classic. Ask any true Hip Hop fan/guru if it's a classic and watch what they tell.
It's not the 90's any more. There will be plenty of time to gain critical acclaim once Nicki has established herself commercially.
It has nothing to do with the time period. Those artists came out with straight classics, which is the point. Pink Friday just doesn't compete in quality. None of those songs are groundbreaking or notable. Just catchy pop tunes for the pop audiences and sales.
