Well Mandy Moore chose NOT to go mainstream. Her label wanted her to sex it up like Britney Spears but she said NO. She wanted to do her own thing and control her career.

She also did not like the whole pop thing she did. So it was her choice. She is recording another album soon but she said this is the last time she will make it as singer if she flops (which will happen)


I think Mandy should do TV. She was great on Grey's Anatomy.


As for Jessica Simpson, feel bad for her. It seems like she is bad luck with everything she wanted to do. At least she has her clothing line. But at least she was more successful than Mandy Moore

Although i like some of her music, Michelle was the softcore version of avril lavigne. Avril was very hard-hitting that time on the angsty teen crowd. There ain't no way she can compete when her materials are just ordinary. Not saying avril's materials were extraordinary but they were better.

Michelle Branch is amazing.

If she just did not go with The Wreckers and continued her momentum after Hotel Paper, I think she could be somehow big up to this day. I remember Sooner Or Later still managing to get to top 60 on iTunes.

Now, she'd need to compete wit Kate Voegele. I could probably get those 2 confused However, there is only 1 Mia Catalano. It's rare to find a girl who can sing/songwrite/perform AND act well. Acting is a completely different skill and Kate delivered.

Michelle? Drop The Wreckers and do solo stuff again We KNOW you're talented. All you have to do is prove it to us again.
