Anyway, she brought confessional songwriting back to the forefront. Prior to her, a lot of the Top 40 was cluttered with generic pop hits and a bunch of urban/hip-hop crossover smashes.
Also, Kelsea Ballerini and Sam Hunt, upcoming country artists, are literally carbon copies of her. Obviously they have their own individuality but Taylor's influence is directly there.
She's popularized country pop and made the country music community more accepting of it, brought country music to countries that would otherwise have nothing to do with it, inspired hundreds of thousands of teens, is singlehandedly saving music sales, etc
