Maroon 5. Even though Payphone and One More Night were bops, Overexposed really felt like it blatantly followed a formula to achieve mainstream success.
Jewel is a definiton of a sell-out when her 90's music wasn't popular in the 2000's! It ended her career and all that legacy she left in the 1990's
Intuition is still a bop tho!
Again And Again was still a decent HAC hit for her but it's too bad she never really did recover after Intuition. I think she's like a country singer now.
Pixie Lott too (though I don't think she even has stans on here ) Loved her debut but she sold out on the second album and her third album was pure trash. Now she does broadway and promotes toilet paper.
The Band Perry, they wanted to be a top pop act so bad that they released the absolutely awful 'Live Forever' which could've been a formulatic hit for anyone else but a complete flop for them and ended their country career.
Nicki Minaj realized she could make a butt load off pop music and outlandish outfits when Superbass took off.. And then it became too much and she's been back peddling to the rap market ever since (with select pop cuts for the gays)
