At the start she's leaving her house with suitcases... Deryck's house. She's dressed up, looking perfect. She covers up, tries to be strong, especially since she's in the public eye. She does random ****, drinks, shaves, sunbathes, is in total denial about being broke up. Eventually she starts to miss him. She tries ring him but no answer. She waits for him to call, or to come for her. Perhaps she left a voice message. Eventually it hits her, her marriage is over. She locks her door and falls to the floor slowly. She stops the act. It's over, she needs to face herself and admit that her marraige is over. She takes off the wig, ruins her make-up etc. She looks at herself for real for the first time and is devastated.
So what did everyone see the story as? I thought it was her going it alone and not really being sure what to do so she thought she'd sex up her style (in a very classy way I might add) and then she was just doing stuff to pass the time like shaving and randomly videoing herself even turning to drink before just breaking down and taking off the fake clothes and wig that aren't truly her.

But Alice, WYWH and Goodbye ******* on both the WTH and Smile videos This era was flawless and WTH was the hit the era needed. Smile was the only regrettable move by Avril this era. The Goodbye video has MADE this era for me. Goodbye Lullaby era = Under My Skin era in terms of meaning, introspective, raw talent coming from Avril. WYWH and Goodbye videos are both truly amazing pieces of art
