Bonnie is basically the queen of catchy song writing, penning hits for artist like Britney Spears and Katy Perry, but this year she decided to release her single American Girl. When I first heard it, I just shurgged it off, because it was nothing special, but that chorus was stuck in my head. "I am an American Girlllll, hot blooded and I'm ready to goooooo, hot blooded all american girlllllll" I MEAN. It was infectous and started to grow on me so much, I would listen to it every day. Back in the Myspace days of the internet and where anyone could make a song on Garage Band, came the Millionaires. Raunchy, and bratty, they're kind of cute if you're drunk enough. Anyways, to my surprise I had no idea they were planning an album, and their first single from that album Drinks On Me is like the best party song ever. The hook is what got me hooked (heh), and I played this once on a car ride to the city, and me and my friends were getting DOWN (we had a DD, don't worry.) Its a fun, and carefree song about alcohol, what's not to love.

Its actually pretty empowering, I mean when she gets to that chorus you just scream yassssssss and dance around like no one is watching.
Ellie Goulding released her EP for Halcyon, Halcyon days, which featured 10 more songs. While I don't think its as good as Halcyon, it has a few cute tracks on it, one of them being Goodness Gracious. Its such an adorable song, gives you that feeling like you have this crush on someone even if you don't. It gives me that really fuzzy feeling, especially when she says Goodness gracious in such an cute way.

Now I think there are far better tracks on Britney Jean, but this song, THIS SONG is just, it drills into your head, and "You Better Work Bitch" has become a mantra on its own. The song itself is actually pretty catchy (I hated it at first), but the more I started repeating "work bitch, you better WERK bitch" the more I wanted to play this song. Its been such a fun song this year, I think I'll always remember it. Now get up and comment, you better work.
