You don't really have to sing pop as a genre to be involved in pop culture.

All she did was cement that fact that as a woman, taking off your clothes in a video is the easiest way to get attention. #popculture

Anaconda was everywhere at it's time of release. Meme's, parodies, breaking the Vevo record, hitting #2 on the BBH100 and becoming a Grammy Award nominated song.
Taylor and Gaga stans can continue to be pressed at Nicki.

I really don't know but I'm pretty sure she's impacted the scene? because it's probably just me having no knowledge about pop culture.

Do you really need to be educated on the amount of Hip-Hop/ Rap songs that are in Nicki's discography? They far outweigh the Pop-influenced songs.

A lot more than a couple guitar strums and redundant songs about ex boyfriends, that's for sure.

Anaconda was only huge because of her being practically naked & showing off her surgically enhanced ass in the single cover // dancing provocatively, sucking bananas and giving Drake a lap dance in the music video.
Nicki is incapable of creating a pop phenomenon without shock tactics.
Oh and... why would Taylor and Gaga fans be pressed over Nicki when our faves are 5x more successful?

Tupac never had a Grammy, or a #1 single either. I guess he never had any impact, either.

You could say the same about Friday (it would have peaked much higher if streaming counted back then)

What about Super Bass? There was no shock tactics there, and don't say "Taylor bla bla bla" because all she done was bring initial attention to the song. Nicki's Monster verse? No shock tactics there.
I don't know, but for some reason y'all are and have been for a minute.

Several songs actually accomplished so much more than that and hit #1 and won grammys. Is it really that easy to impact pop culture?

One of the best selling albums of the decade, 3 #1s from one album, Vevo record without getting naked, I could go on...
