LMFAO. "Rock With U" has already hit iTunes. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY? No, I LOVE the song, but why are they so desperate and rushing everything? This album is going to be a disaster. And will probably perfom worse than her last 2 flops.

i know, the single has not even really been released yet, and it's already on itunes, nobody's going to download it except maybe hardcore fans and people who already know about it & have heard it. She should have just waited to release it on iTunes until the album comes out & when the video is released.

'Luv' goes for urban radio adds on February 11

Janet's new song "Luv" is scheduled to go for adds at urban radio in the U.S. on February 11, according to the schedule at Radio & Records.

As was previously reported, Janet's other new song "Rock With U" will go for adds at rhythm/crossover stations also on February 11.

Discipline availabe to pre-order on iTunes with bonus features

The Discipline album is now available to pre-order at the iTunes online music store, where it will come with the bonus track "Let Me Know" and a special video titled "The Genesis of Discipline".

In addition, when the album is pre-ordered on iTunes, customers will instantly receive the song "Rock With U" for a charge of 99 cents. The balance will be charged when the remainder of the album is downloaded on February 26.

The iTunes promotional description of the album lists Pharrell, Jazze Pha, and Palow Da Don as producers on the album, which has not yet been officially confirmed elsewhere. The tracklisting for the album on iTunes is identical to the one listed last week at other online stores, with the exception of the iTunes bonus song "Let Me Know," which is also the bonus song on the Japanese version of the album, and the special "Genesis of Discipline" video.

The song "Rock With U" can now also be purchased separately for 99 cents for those who do not want to pre-order the whole album.

Radio's always manage to get their hand's on hot music, well they need to get their hands on the "Feedback (Remix)". It would seriously help the song, and promotion wouldn't be that bad neither

Ciara & Janet performing "Feedback" at the Grammy's would be huge. Just look at Beyonce and Tina Turner! Everyone should perform with their idols (IE Madonna and Britney) maybe one day we'll get a Chris Brown and Michael Jackson

Janet Jackson has abandoned the plastic R&B of 2006's 20 Y.O. for a sexier brand of digitized megapop. On her Def Jam debut, the beats are as crass and processed as Jackson's heavy breathing, so she sounds more like a sex droid than a blow-up doll, which is way hotter — for starters, sex droids show more initiative. When Janet brags she's "heavy like a first-day period" on "Feedback" or sings in a scrunched-up robot voice that she's "So Much Betta" than your girl, all the amateur competition should just pack up their Webcams and go home.

Discipline's mechanized thump flatters producer Rodney Jerkins, who slams down the high-voltage money shot "Feedback" and the Jam-Lewis homage "Rollercoaster." The slower, slinkier stuff is left to Ne-Yo, who's so excited to be working with a real, live Jackson that he even calls one song "Rock With You." Essential to the album's fantasy world is its lack of references to the real-life woman behind the mike. (No one really wants to think that it's Jermaine Dupri she's inviting to "strum [her] like a guitar," right?) So by the time Janet's murmuring, "Daddy, I disobeyed you," on the masochistic title track, you can dismiss any images of the abusive Jackson clan that flit into your mind. Just lie back and enjoy the sensations as pure aural autoeroticism.

If she received the same rating for "DISCIPLINE" as she did for "THE VELVET ROPE", the album will do well. Instead of a big promo, I think IDJ is working on the longevity of the album. I welcome the comments that she is going to flop. Those detractors would revel at that thought of a multi-platinum, over 100 million records sold legend to flop. That's fine....but I will let the album sales and her tour speak for themselves. If she flops, well, you got what you wanted. CONGRATULATIONS
