Probably not, tbh. I think it's disrespectful to fans to regularly show up hours late to a scheduled performance/concert. The fans have paid a **** ton of money to see you perform, and some of them have traveled miles, the least the performer can do is show up on time.

Yeah, I love Onika to bits but this has got to stop, and I really hope there aren't any Barbz who might try to defend this.

It's ridiculous for all the reasons people have pointed out. Disrespectful to fans who've paid money and some who've travelled far for the performance. Disrespectful to the other performers by being late as it affects their sets as well, and disrespectful to the festival organizers and crew members who put in a lot of unseen work into getting the stage and sound set up for the artist.

Even if she had a personal issue/crisis, at least call ahead and let the organizers know so they can inform the fans. It's as simple as making a phone call or shooting an email, which you could easily have your manager or a PA do.

If you click on the second link in the original post, one fan even says that there's only one train left home for the day, and she's about to miss it, because she doesn't know if Nicki Minaj is arriving or not. Nicki Minaj is literally leaving her fans stranded with her constant unprofessional lateness. Rude and disrespectful. She'll soon run out of fans, at this rate.

Not an excuse. Call ahead and let the managers know so that they can work around it or inform fans what's going on so that they can make the decisions for themselves about whether to wait it out or not. It sounds like they weren't informed and were just left in limbo for hours, unsure if she was even gonna show up, not even a question of when.

Better yet, try not to schedule your flight for a concert literally hours before your supposed to go on.
