I doubt anything will be playable for the new XBOX and I'm guessing its going to be a late 2013 release. The WIi-U will punch first, but ofcourse it wont have the power the other consoles will have.

Exactly. We still have GTA5, Halo 4, Tomb Raider and Mass Effect 3 to come this year. We won't see the new consoles until at least late next year because some good software is still being provided and the consoles are still selling strong.



And so true about the Wii-U, I don't think that console will be considered "next generation" -- both in terms of specifications and release date.

I just bought a ****ing PS3 slim. Ch... But if it lives up to expectations I will buy the PS4. Xbox's have a short life, they stop working correctly way too quickly. My old 360 is collecting dust in the basement at the moment. I'd buy the Wii U tho, as long as Nintendo makes the Wii a better media player, revamps their store, & Wii design and interface.

I doubt Nintendo can duplicate the success of the Wii, Wii-U is a HUGE gamble, they wanted to simplify the controller by reinventing it, now they are going backwards with an even bigger controller and a messy interface. I smell flop, this might be Gamecube era all over again for them.

Naughty Dog has now two teams. If they're intending to make a new Jak and Daxter, I'm sure they'll do it without overstepping U4's development. That, if they start after The Last of Us gets released.

I'm waiting for the entrance of Nintendo into the HD world. It's gonna end careers. The PS4 is coming out NO time soon but the hype will be nice and thick so yass. Xbox will remain basic and a lessor.
