Not really.

Children are like sponges are are able to absorb anything you tell them and eventually make sense of it because they don't know any different.

It's the adults who have a hard time because they have already established how the world is and when something comes in to change their perception it's hard to change it.

Students are encouraged to wear the clothes they feel comfortable in

The fact ya'll thinking this is more complicated than it actually is They're just asking the teacher to not assume anyone's gender, use gender neutral terms, and not make them uncomfortable They're not teaching the students anything about this

Had this been about teaching gay sex during family life, the gay rights movement or erasing heteronormativity you would've been here screaming "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSS" and telling homophobes to seethe

except transgender people are also male or female, just one instead of the other...

i guess non-binary people are a thing, but they're a tiny proportion of the population, and boys and girls are often separated because of space limitations rather than sexism, so i don't really get it.
