Nobody is denying that she's currently bigger. However, her overall career is nowhere near Britney's.

People only care about Taylor's personal life because she sings about it and it involves other celebrities. People were watching Britney's every move, not to mention she was the benchmark for popstars for a long time. Taylor is simply making pop music and has a big fan base. There's a lot she's lacking in comparing her to Britney.

I LOVE Taylor. After Gaga, she's my next fave girl from the new generation.

Her two best selling albums are her debut Taylor Swift and sophomore Fearless. Even with THAT many people didn't even know who she was until the 2009 VMA incident Everyone knew Britney in that same time period. Britney was higher on Forbes in 2009 and 2010. Tay was higher in 2011. B in 2012. Tay again in 2013 + 2014 and most likely 2015. Taylor has obviously been bigger since Red. Everything before that was not certain, especially before the Kanye incident. That was Britney not even at her peak . It's like T was a debut act as a legit popstar after that incident Red, Speak Now and 1989 against BOMT, Oops, Britney, ITZ, BO, Circus + the 3 era. Britney >

Yes Taylor already impacts both the young and old generations. Young teens don't even know who Britney is today. People over 50 don't even care about her. Meanwhile you have people in elderly homes bopping to shake it off
