This is a side affect of Americas position in the world.

You think the US was always like this? For much of its history the US was extremely isolationist. It's a good and bad thing. There are many cases where US involvement was a good thing like South Korea and bad like Iraq.

I've actually been interested in this because I hear so many good things about Canada and after some research, I'd say Canada is better. But of course, only by what I've read and from other peoples experiences. Would love to go to Canada one day.

USA and that's from a Canadian.

But let me explain myself. I think if you have money and a good/great job (aka make 6 figures), then the US is def better. Canada is better for the middle and lower middle classes, and esp for the poor.

Or if you're into nature and that kind of stuff, then sure Canada could be better.

I hated the cold. I make great money. There are literally countless great cities in the US. There's only 3 in Canada. And none compare to NYC or Chicago or LA or Miami.

and yeah, Canada doesn't have many fun or iconic cities like the US, but the whole country overall >>>> A few cities can't bring the whole country up And while we're at it, Toronto and Vancouver are always in the top of most livable cities in the world, not New York or LA
