Well it still wouldn't really be an "official" guide, because Billboard only have accurate numbers for United States. Their guess is as good as many others.
It just seems stupid. 110 million? Where do all those sales come from? In the five biggest world markets he's sold 40 million, I don't see where the other 70 could come from. I'm more inclined to believe total sales are at 60-80 mill, possibly 90 but not 110.

Most definitely. That's clearly inflated. Sources have said different things, but I don't see where it has sold 110 million, even after his death. But it is believable that it is the biggest selling album of time.
