Can I post an article announcing the single? releasing on Saturday now? I feel like all the eras I had had to start off with a surprise release of a single which tends to be slightly unrealistic
And you already have 2 artists. How would you handle 3 artists unless you do a collab album between at least 2? Just saying.
I've handled more artists before, and I don't really need your input on how to handle artists? Especially when I've done this longer. But lol, thanks for your input.
Anyways....
So the official articles and stuff are Saturday and anything before is like prepration and announcements? That's smart I guess. Lots of new people see the thread and get scared off by everyone experienced sweeping everything and getting right down to work. This way a lot of new people can come and have time to learn the ropes and sign new artists, and prepare I guess.
Billboard: Cara Delevingne Releasing New Single Saturday
702 Words
__________
After a getting her first #1 song, a #2 album and a Top 3 single back in 2013, Cara Delevingne is finally back. She might have launched herself through modeling but now Cara Delevingne also has started her music career which turned out to be a success, played a minor role in a movie and still wants to do more.
Variety Records, the label managing and releasing Cara's music had booked with us an interview out of no where back in early december, which we didn't reveal anything of, until now. To sum it up, Cara is releasing a brand new track titled 'La Belle', THIS SATURDAY. The song is supposed to be a trap song, Caras first song in the genre, her album is supposed to mix a little bit of all Urban subgenres with a few hints of pop. Here's the full interview:
Billboard: Ok this is actually great that you are here Cara! You haven't been that much active concerning your musical career ever since the end of your 'Explicit Magazine Tour' back in December 2013. Why?
Cara: Well I wanted to be really focused on the next album rather then try to keep a **** load of attention just for the sake of it. I feel like the result was positive.
Billboard: There's been rumors you went into rehab this summer due to your stress which cause depression, is this true?
Cara: No, I didn't however I did get depressed because I was really scared of how the music would turn out. I cancelled and re-worked the whole thing like... twice? At first I wanted it to go in a certain direction then it changed, then it changed yet again... I'm really sure about this direction though, I feel like it's the right choice.
Billboard: What would this 'right choice' be?
Cara: A very urban oriented album, sort of like Rihanna you know? I also have been working with Kanye West for some tracks, along with loads of other producers and writers.
Billboard: Could you give us a few more names?
Cara: Giorgio Tuinfort did a lot of work on this album, Diplo as well. Uhm... Stargate, Danja worked on it as wel. Charli XCX and Crystale wrote a few songs too, but those are the more pop sounding songs.
Billboard: So is it actually done?
Cara: Yes it is. It's been done for a few weeks actually, I just was waiting for the right time to release it. The first single is coming this Saturday!
Billboard: Well that's a nice surprise! What will it be called?
Cara: 'La Belle'. I actually rap the lyrics, I think this is the first time I do that. It's about me being on top of my game, fashion wise, being the most fabulous queen out there. I think it represents the album well both musically and thematically, at least the second part of it, since really most of it is about that. The album also is a mix of multiple Urban sub-genres.
Billboard: Why did you decide to work on this song, to write a song about being on top of your game?
Cara: Well I sort of received loads of hate and well this new album is about how I handled it, how I still got through it. It was all new to me so it sort of scared me, I needed some sort of weapon, a defense mechanism, which turned out to be this album and more specifically this song.
Billboard: When will we get a music video?
Cara: The day the song is out. I will be premiering the music vidoe along with a behind the scenes look at it during an MTV Special.
Billboard: When will the album be out?
Cara: Soon, very soon. Can't say more... yet.
Billboard: Will you be going on Tour, would you want to go back on the road?
Cara: oh Definitely. I'm planning a few things already, just wait to see the final thing!
Cara then played to us her single 'La Belle', which sounds like a BOP. She seems to finally be ready to start off a brand new era.
Here's a 15 Seconds Snippet of 'LA BELLE'.

Basically, this week, I'm giving you all 10 days to promote. Since it's the first week, I'm sure all of you want to get used to writing articles again, plus we have a lot of celebrations this week, so I'm giving three more days. All of those 20 articles that you write from today to January 3rd will count towards the charts. If you have some stuff planned, you can start promoting and releasing today, if you don't - then you can take some time to figure out what you want to do. This is the only week that I'm giving you few more extra days, so don't get used to that. Obviously, you can write some preparations that you won't include in your list when you turn them in next Saturday, but if you feel the urge to start promoting and releasing today, you can do that.
Oh and Eric, so are you signing Bey or not?

Time to put up your labels. You better like the pictures that I picked out for you artists cause I'm not changing them.

Azealia wrote the song back in August while she was "in a dark place." "The song is really deep. It's about my own metamorphosis into who I want to be. How we all metamorph with the earth and our surroundings. If you don't change with your surroundings, they'll change without you. In essence, that's what this whole song is about." Make sure to purchase Metamorph on iTunes or listen to the official audio uploaded to Azealia's YouTube.

+ I need time to prepare.
I didn't really mean it like that I know I could never handle that many artists. I couldn't even do two last season
