Artpop did 18k first day and 58k first week, she had a full week last time tho. In Japan new music comes out on Tuesdays, so yes her screwed up by releasing this on a Friday.

With the weekend boost I'm sure she can sell at least +10k in two days for a ~15k debut. Her team messed up...

no they didn't They obviously don't care, they put some promo in Japan and they are leaving the album do its thing for now.

How did they mess up ? If they released the album Tuesday there, it would've leaked last weeknd which is even worse.
