Say what? Her debut and sophomore album are platinum and 3x platinum! And she only has 5 singles that didn't go Top 20, and most of those came from her last two efforts after music changed.
Just for curiosity, how big is Rihanna in Latin America and Asia? You mustn't forget these markets when calling someone "global."
She's a no-one in Asia, basically, but she has quite a nice following in Latin America. Asia is the only continent she hasn't "conquered", so to speak.
