In terms of performance yes. She sounds out of breath so easily, she can't dance to save her life, and she looks lost and awkward on stage majority of the time. She has amazing voice, but it's mostly when she is standing still.
i wouldn't say she's overrated its just that she's releasing soon and people are excited for her album. we saw this happen with Iggy, Miley, Lana, ect when they were releasing.
Ariana is so underrated imo.
Her Yours Truly album was really good. She still needs a bit more work and control, her enunciation sucks and she sounds "breathy" or forced sometimes especially in Problem but I think in time she will be really great
yes, her live vocal is tragic because people call her a great vocalist or whatever.
She has yet to impress me live. Her tone is pretty bad as well. No texture and soul.
But comparing her to her other peers, no she's not overrated.
