Since Blessed Space looks to have a good shot at getting it with this week that just started, I'm annoyed that SIO wasn't on top because of continually random BB rules.
And yeah CMA went into effect last week because of preorders but that doesn't mean that during the week ppl could've clicked CMA which would make sense
but then what i dont understand is why the album didn't chart on last weeks chart if the preorder effect came in with one hour left in the tracking period???

Yeah SIO sold 65k last week and only lost like ~120k sales from CMA. Obviously it was gonna lose even more this week when 1989 sold 640k digital copies.

AATB has the next two weeks on top if the chart remains steady like this. I Cannot wait for those year end countdown playlist tho. Meghan may have a long shot at the record.

It is freaking ridiculous that for an album's opening week, SIO is docked for TWO weeks.

I've never understood this either, although I can think of a couple of possible explanations.
