Why didn't they shoot him in the knee, one user asked? Because the body is a bigger target than the knee and you can easily miss.
Why didn't they tase him? Not everyone falls down while being tased. There are many instances of people being tased and still having the ability to go forward and attack someone.
One user said "This man isn't a very big person and doesn't look like he could have done much, tbh." You never make that type of assumption, ever. The moment you think someone isn't capable of hurting you just by their physical appearance, you're in trouble.
It doesn't matter if they had 10 cops there. If he charges at even one of them, they all shoot.
If any of you had a gun aimed someone and they came towards you with a weapon, you'd shoot as well. Stop trying to join the bandwagon of cop haters. It's pathetic. There are a lot more good cops than there are bad cops; but you all love controversy so you only pay attention to the bad ones.

The default response of police should not be murder.
Police in other developed countries of the world such as Japan and the UK are trained and equipped in a way, that allow them to effectively police and don't fatally shoot their civilians on a regular basis. In fact in the UK 55 people have been fatally wounded in police shootings since
1990. Thats around two a year, in fact no one has been fatally wounded in a police shooting in the past three years. In comparison over 400 people a year are fatally wounded by the police in the US and thats a conservative estimate.
I don't see why this level of training is beyond the comprehension or skill or american police officers. If they are unable to be that well trained perhaps they are as incapable as everyone says they are.
