Too bad the Ice Climbers game is iconic, while nobody will remember who Rosalina or Luma is after they're dumped when their 15 mins are up like they did with Daisy

I love Ice Climbers too but y'all need to give up. Sakurai said he did everything to try to get them to work (even turn off gravity) and they simply would not work. The only way they would work would be by compromising their entire gimmick, which Sakurai is too stubborn to do.
Maybe if the NX is released soon enough, they'll make a "complete " version of Smash 4 that's able to run the Ice Climbers, but for now, it seems they simply weren't meant to be in this game. I trust that their return in Smash 5 will be triumphant.

Stay pressed baby, Rosalina will continue to slay. Galaxy, Galaxy 2, Mario kart 7&8, Super Mario World 3D, Mario Golf Tour, Mario party 10, and now SSB4. She even slayed as a baby character in Mario kart 8 and the sales don't lie  ice climbers can stay being inferior

See you in 30 years, hopefully we'll still remember Rosalina's name, though i'll doubt she'll be on anyone's mind like the Ice Climbers have been on yours all these years

I remember when we were discussing how adding Sora, Donald, and Goofy was probably never going to happen.
But if Cloud is in, then adding "Kingdom Hearts" characters isn't completely out of the question anymore.

Disney doesn't want their characters in fighting games, so KH won't happen until they change their way of thinking.

not when Rosalina has featured in over 14 games in the span of just 8 years, a number the ice climbers fail to reach in their 3 decades worth of existence.

Well as much as I love daisy her background isn't rich and she didn't have a whole game dedicated to her and her story. She's also always just seen as a peach clone, Rosalina had a new look and feel to her, and she wasn't the regurgitated 'damsel in distress' cliche
