It's definitely possible that she loves Artpop but she has a thing with Gaga ever since the Alejandro video comments plus don't you think she wouldn't feel bad seeing how Gaga during a time robbed her of all the awards and media attention, like that time at the VMAs? The rivalry is there. My fave isn't completely innocent either, I love her but she has added a bit of fuel to this as well.

TO BE FAIR, Katy did start it dissing Alejandro and many other jabs. At that point, Gaga doesn't owe Katy any favors to be openly friendly towards her.

Unfortunately, her rush-release single didn't beat Katy but she didn't have to play nice tho.

Lady Gaga had already announced a list of her release dates, not soon after that suddenly Katy announced that her album would come out a month before Gagas. Then the single fiasco happened. So honestly if you're going to jump down Gagas throat for the song leaking at the same time as Roar, you might as well jump down Katys throat for possibly waiting to announce her album release so that it would come out a month before Gagas. Its the same conspiracy b/s either way.

At any rate, they have no feud. And if anything Katy was the one throwing shade Gagas way dissing her for being pretentious and using religious imagery as if Katy is so pious shooting whip cream from her **** and singing about pea***** when her demographic is tween girls.
