IMO, Wayne is better at going in on "crazy" beats than Drake is and this seems like it is one of those types of beats.
I'd rather Drake sound comfortable on a track than have him on a track just because he is Drake.
Basically. Drake doesn't fit on every type of beat, which is why she suggested Wayne instead. Like you said, Nicki's a huge Wayne stan, so of course she'd suggest him to be put on a song that he'd shine best on.
But WHY did Nicki want Wayne on it?
