Every media outlet won't stop posting it since it had 200 signatures. of course a lot of people would sign it. Loser.com redirects to kanyes wiki he's hated by a lot of people
I think some people are just more anti-Kanye at this point than anti his music. As someone stated, this petition has been spreading around many places so people are just casually signing it.
have you ever wondered, it may not be about the color of his skin but his music, look at the other lineups... this is a rock concert. People like kanye, Jay-Z, and beyonce don't fit in this line up.
What does him being egotistical and opinionated have to do with the quality of his music?
It's obviously rockism, and possibly some subconscious racial bias.
also nnn @ "Who Will Survive In America" being a song

since it's a rock concert prominent black artist should perform. Seeing how they started it .
It's funny how Rock fans think that their music taste is superior. But really, If you don't like it then don't go. The music industry wasn't made for Rock music only, it was made for music that people enjoy and many people enjoy Kanye West.
it's not that explicit, in your face, "I hate darkies" brand of racism
it's more covert
people don't think the loud, angry Kanye and his noisy jigaboo music deserve to headline the festival over a more tame rock act who'd probably stand there strumming and drumming away, playing eight songs that have meager difference in structure and lyrical content with some occasional audience interaction thrown in to make it feel like ~a true rock show~
I'm not saying it's racist, just arguing how it could be taken that way
