Lol. That's like saying releasing an album in a post-21 world was a daunting task. That didn't stop anyone from releasing and finding their own success. Y'all overestimate 1989, its impact AND its success. If anything, Adele is more concerned about following up her own success, not Taylor's. Same with Rihanna.
