Still getting the final touches ready. Unfortunately school is slowing me now drastically.
Ugh, I know what you mean. December sucks because school is always making me so busy! It's crazy! Plus, there's finals at the end of the month! Hopefully you guys get off of school as long as we do for Christmas. Everyone's excited for it! 12 days of relaxation!

I don't get out until next Wednesday. And yeah it is so ridiculous how much schools shove down our throats before Christmas break. I have four paper due before the end of the semester and that's just in three of my classes. I'm going to be so glad once we get out.
I really want to apologize for not having my video for this like I said I would be doing but I got really sick recently and don't have the energy to do the video. So here is the typed of version of what I would say. I do promise that the video will becoming sometime this week.
20. Diane Birch
Hey guys, welcome to the Best New Artist portion of my countdown. Within this video and the next four I'll be countdown my favorite new artist of 2010. And coming in at my number 20 spot is singer-songwriter Diane Birch. Last year her debut single Nothing But A Miracle ended up on my Favorite Singles of 2009 chart ending up at #123. This year her singles Valentino and Rewind impressed me even more. Her single Valentino even charted on my personal countdown here, peaking at #20 and lasting 6 weeks.
19. Debi Nova
Coming in my number 19 spot is Costa Rican singer Debi Nova. I actually discovered her when I visited MTV one time and was looking through their video premieres. I found the video for her debut single Drummer Boy to be beautiful and creative. So brilliant that it lasted 7 weeks on my countdown and peaking at #12. I'm quite sad that she hasn't hit real big here in the US.
18. Daniel Merriweather
The first male appearance on my chart is Australian R&B singer-songwriter Daniel Merriweather. I discovered Mr. Merriweather after Vh1 made him one of their You Oughta Know artists. I completely agree. His US debut single Red is a very somber and heartfelt song. Some of his other songs that I've fallen in love with are Change, For your Money, and Water and A Flame ft. Adele. His single Red spent 12 weeks on my countdown and managed to peak near the top at #5.
17. VV Brown
And ending the first set of artist is English singer-songwriter VV Brown. I would like to apologize for not having any of her music to put into the video. Anyways I discovered her before she crossed-over to the US. I’m really sad that it took her song, Shark in the Water, appearing on a tv show for her to get recognized. I don’t really know what the song is about to the fullest extent, but it is so much fun to listen to; so much fun that it hit #1 twice on my personal countdown and even retired.
