From the video, it looked like this was in a pretty rural area. 70+ casualties is crazy.
Yeah, it's in West, Texas (not West Texas, the town is actually called "West") and it's near Waco. I'd never heard of it until now (I live in DFW); it's definitely a smaller town.
For being in such a remote area, I'm curious why the number of casualties is so high. I guess employees of the plant?
Edit: The point of view of the video is deceiving. I just looked up a satellite image of the area, and the plant is literally right on the edge of the town.
