Ugh I heard about this issue but I swore someone said recently that it wasn't gonna affect the trailer date + movie's release. This is such a mess.
I've read that, but people are still saying everything made with that software is blocked and some are saying all the rendering thing has to be re-done.

At this point it seems the trailer will be attached to Magnificent 7, which comes out September 23 . Unless Sony will surprise us and drop it after the Labor-day weekend

Not when Joy managed to make $100m at BO. That one was a boring biopic, this one is interesting and have blockbuster written all over it. I predict $600m overall and that is not a flop despite the budget.

Faris also let slip that Pratt is currently in Atlanta doing reshoots for Passengers, his sci-fi movie with Jennifer Lawrence that hits theaters in December. Before you start to worry, know that reshoots are par for the course on every big-budget movie, and aren't necessarily indicative of a problem. In fact, reshoots just mean a studio feels so confident about a movie, it's willing to put in more money to help make it the best it can be. So don't believe all those negative headlines about Rogue One.

every single Marvel movie has reshoots and it's always to enhance a movie that's already good, it's because of Rogue One that everyone is now freaking out when they hear reshoots, it's probably just a few days of pick ups if JLaw is already done

If the reshoots were that brief, then everything's okay with the movie and only a couple scenes were off. Massive reshoots lasting two weeks or more are always the reason to worry - this is not such case.

if they're doing reshoots now then the only reason for that is that JLaw just finished filming completely different movie like a WEEK ago so I think the studio for that movie could not let her go to do some reshoots for this movie with Pratt.
A lot of movies do reshoots before their release.this is not something new
Catching Fire movie did reshoots few months before the release and that movie is one of best Jen's career
