Right. I guess peoples' ideas of "rich" might be different, but IMO Bey's family were middle class. They had a comfortable life clearly, but it took both Mathew and Tina's income to keep that afloat and they ended up having to move into an apartment when Mathew quit his job to manage the group full time.
Rich to me means you've acquired enough wealth to never have to work again and still maintain the same lifestyle.
