Selena's mother had her at 16, and she definitely wasn't wealthy for the first 5 years of her daughter's life.

I remember having a lot of macaroni and cheese but my mom never made it seem like it was a big deal. She was really strong around me. Having me at 16 had to have been a big responsibility. Right. I guess peoples' ideas of "rich" might be different, but IMO Bey's family were middle class. They had a comfortable life clearly, but it took both Mathew and Tina's income to keep that afloat and they ended up having to move into an apartment when Mathew quit his job to manage the group full time.

Rich to me means you've acquired enough wealth to never have to work again and still maintain the same lifestyle.

Ariana Grande went to the same private school I go to and it costs 30 grand a year so... Also she's lived in a nice house in Boca. Her grandparents donate money all the time and her mom is some rich businesswoman I think.
