What I'm getting from this is that more and more non-black artists are trying to make Hip-Hop inspired music, but don't respect the roots and where it came from? I'm ignorant when it comes to these arguments but I'd like to hear both sides

How many urban artists are there, period? Ones with quality music that resonates with a mass audience? Do some people not want to listen to these artists because they're black, or because the music just isn't their taste or very good in general?

There are many urban artist. My point was why is black culture, urban, R&B, hip hop find in success when it isn't done by black artist

Just the mere fact that Bey and Rih continue to have longevity and impact after more than a decade after their respective careers started to a degree greater than some white popgirl contemporaries show that the GP is fairer than a lot of people realise.
