I make my gifs with Adobe Premiere Pro and use, at the moment, Ulead GIF Animator 5 if I want to resize the GIFs or reduce quality for Tumblr. I can use Photoshop, but it's especially unreliable when it comes to posting them on Tumblr, because they usually stop on Tumblr after looping maybe once.

I have a mac. That's another problem...I can't find a solid (free) gif editor for macs.
