Beyonce is NOT a technical dancer. And Lady GaGa's dancing skills are marginal; even she's admitted this.
And about this miming ridiculousness. The only artist who can dance AND sing at the same time is Beyonce. Lady GaGa tries, but when she does, her beautiful vocals suffer. Britney certainly can't - she's mimed her way thru plenty of performances ... and there's nothing wrong with that when you can move and energize the audience the way she, Cheryl, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger, etc. can.
And sorry, but Cheryl's dancing skills >>>>>>>>>> Rihanna's and Katy Perry's. They're not even in the same league. Neither one can command the stage with their movements and athleticism the way Cheryl does (i.e. the Fight for This Love performance from the Brit awards). They both rely on other gimmicks.
Lady GaGa doesn't TRY. She sings every performance live and damn near perfect. Did you watch TMB HBO? Grammys? Her choreo was on point with perfect vocals.
I don't approve of miming, but when you move like Britney in her glory day it was understandable. But there is nothing about the FFTL or Promise This routines that make them difficult to dance and sing live to. It all boils down to why Cheryl mimes:
I wasn't comparing Katy and Rihanna's dancing, by the way. I was comparing overall performances. Katy's E.T. on American Idol >>> any Cheryl performance.

The dancing in the RTW video, if that's what you're talking about, isn't THAT involved. Watch closely... there's a lot of bobbing up and down and hair flipping and kicking but that's about it.

Watch me get reported for this.
I was talkign about the beginning with the africans.

Honey, did you SEE the Born This Way video? Or even Judas? She certainly does try, but she moves with rigidity and it doesn't look natural. And her vocals at the Grammys were not perfect; nor were they perfect when she performed Judas on Ellen. She was winded and out of breath. I can't believe I'm having to shade Lady Gaga, someone I love, but what you gonna do?
And I'll admit that Cheryl's no Whitney Houston, but who cares? Britney isn't, J. Lo isn't, Katy Perry isn't, Rihanna isn't. You don't need to sing from the top to the bottom of the vocal register to be a successful pop star. You have to have gravitas, charisma, and the ability to put on a compelling show. Cheryl can do all of those things. And acting like Cheryl's voice is akin to nails on a chalkboard is just ludicrous. So she had a bum note in 3 Words? Rihanna has pitch issues in nearly every live performance of California King Bed. Usually, that doesn't detract from her abilities as a performer or the effect of the performance as a whole. And for every ****** performance Cheryl has, she has two or three others that are awesome. And most of her performances of The Flood or Rain on Me have been live AND lovely. She may not be the best vocalist around, but she's far from the worst - and way crappier ladies have hit it big than her.
Cheryl's live performances of Fight for This Love have been amazing. She leads about twenty dancers and still commands the stage. Maybe it's not your cup of tea, but dismissing her with a wave because she doesn't have a five-octave vocal range is ridiculous.
And Katy's E.T. on American Idol?? REALLY? That's the performance you pick to show off her abilities as a performer in totality? We're just going to have to agree to disagree on that one.

Thank you. She looks spastic. I would have stuck with Single Ladies if I was going to try and throw shade. But even that was not TECHNICAL dancing. Cheryl has proven that she's a solid technical dancer - watch any performance of Parachute w/ Derek Hough.

I don't think it's spastic, I think she actually looks good but it's like HIAM or TTWE, if you actually look at what she's doing, it's not that intense. The illusion of intense dancing comes from the editing.

I can't even respond after you criticised vocals and choreo from the Grammys. Even non-fans admitted her vocals were on point and her choreo was perfect.
