I can't at Haus_Of_Nicole being more relevant than Nicole Scherzinger.
I'm done.

+1
Nicole Scherzinger just doesn't have enough of an independent image to be successful.

The only time her vocals impressed is on I Hate This Part with PCD. She has great vocals, obviously, but she doesn't showcase them. And songs like Poison are awful single choices she shouldn't be releasing.

Well you have to listen to her live renditions.

I love Nicole.
Heartbeat & Right There are my jams.
I didn't like her in PCD as much, well, I had a love/hate relationship with her cause I constantly wanted to hear the other chicks :redthing: but she's a great artist in general.
I wish her the best. KILLER LOVE is a great album. She kind of taught me how to dance back in her PCD days.
I DON'T NEED A MAN TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I think Nicole is the whole package when it comes to popstars, personally.
I think she is very hard working (the girl doesn't take no for an answer) and that is so important when you are competing with so many big dogs right now. There doesn't seem to be much a doubt that she has a powerful voice with a pretty decent range, and more importantly it is a very different voice. I know instantly when it is Nicole singing, which gives her a sort of trademark sound to it (i.e. Rihanna, GaGa). She is a good dancer. Maybe not Beyonce or Ciara level, but not only is a good dancer but has proven she can sing WELL while dancing live, which makes her live performances something to reckoned with. And from what I hear, she has a great personality that clicked with the audience of XFactor on her judging.
What she needs to do is get people to be interested in her with this album and XFactor US. She needs to get at least a couple mild hits that people recognize. Then she needs to come on XFactor and get people to like her, and at some point showcase her performance power (and NOT with Right There...awful song, and does not showcase anything she can do.). Then she needs to get better producers and songwriters to truly make the smash she has been needing.
I have no doubt that if she can use XFactor to gain public support, she has all of the other ingredients necessary

I LOVE "Poison"! I wish she wouldn't release songs like "Right There", though. "Wet" and "Don't Hold Your Breath" would have been better singles to debut in the U.S. with.

Nicole is a Ciara CLONE down to the T, there's nothing unique about her. We already have good vocalists with perfect bodies (Beyonce, Keri) and dancers with a nack to write a hot tune or two (Ciara), there's just no room for her honestly.

Nicole's current music is nothing like any of them, least of all Ciara. Ciara has always done the more urban r&b route. And yes Beyonce is a better version of everyone....no need to compare, especially if Nicole is doing more of a pop sound. And so...Keri is a good vocalist, huh? Let's just say if Nicole had covered a Whitney song, it wouldn't have been perfect, but it wouldn't have been dragged all over the internet the way Keri's was. Nicole >>> Keri, and that's a fact.

I don't want to seem like I'm trolling, or attacking you, so please don't take this as the case.
Something you wrote really struck me. You wrote that she has a distinctive voice.
I think she has one of the most generic voices possible - "big," but no tone that really signifies her as her. That's a problem I've had with her since Eden's Crush. It's the same problem that plagues Keri Hilson, by the way.
So I think that's one of the reasons she'll never make it past the C-list as a solo pop star.
The other? She actually has no charisma. None at all, when it comes to being interviewed/promoting herself. She can shine on stage, but that's not what being a pop star is all about.
People have to be interested in YOU. People are interested in Gaga. They're interested in Bey. Britney. Christina. Shakira. (to varying levels.) Katy. Rihanna. (again, to varying levels.) Taylor. Adele. Amy. Even Kelly freaking Clarkson.
No one will ever be interested in her because she is not interesting. She has no specific style - what other pop star has rocked the same look for the better part of a decade?

I thought this was another Haus_Of_Nicole drama about to go down
until I realized who it was about.

Let's focus on the fact that she's desperate. Sorry, but she might as well have given up on her music career dreams the minute she did Dancing with the Stars. She cemented herself as a C-list celebrity (at best) and is doing herself no favors by participating in the X-Factor, as well. Sure, the show may give her a top 10 single on iTunes, but that's it.
To me it's ironic she's going to be on The X-Factor because that's exactly what she's lacking. She doesn't have "it", the special something that makes her a big time celebrity. It's not something she can obtain, she just doesn't, nor ever will, have it.
She probably could rock the hell out of a karaoke night, though.
