What I don't understand is how Boom Kack was afraid/almost quit on the set of Lady Gaga's "Judas" music video, yet Nicki Minaj's performance was 10 times more controversial and more offensive.
I like what they say about naming 5 prominent female rappers. When Nicki first emerged, she was cool b/c there was no one like her and she was filling a void. She felt new and exciting.
A song like Starships will do well, but Katy, Ke$ha, Rihanna, Gaga, Britney, Taoi, pretty much anyone who's had a fun pop hit in the last 5 years could have done it.

It's disappointing because she has HAD the talent to be in the same kind of lane as Missy Elliott.
