i have no clue who this is. which would be ok if shes a country act or something, the vmas always have random country/rock acts perform to balance it out
Talent has nothing to do with it, don't kid yourselves. She has one of the most well-funded, intricately orchestrated marketing and promotion teams/pushes seen in recent years. Too bad no one thought to put those resources into a decent songwriting team.
