No, it's just definitely not a site for someone who has sth against homosexual people. There are also straight men on tumblr, but obviously they're not in majority.
It might as well be. I can't go more than two posts without somebody reblogging some gay **** smh.
It definitely is liberal as hell though. And someone's always protesting some ****, no matter how nonsensical it is. That's why they call it "Tumblr outrage"
Well for one everyone does not use Tumblr for the same reasons as implied. I've ported websites through Tumblr. I know many a straight guy who uses it. Maybe not for meme and gif purposes but that's just surface material compared to Tumblr's full capabilities.
I personally know tons of straight guys who use tumblr, follow plenty, and a lot of the "famous" tumblr users are straight guys They're just not hanging out in the Gaga and Katy Perry tags as much, lol. Lots of straight guys on there into music, photos etc.
Nope. I know a few straight guys irl that run popular fashion tumblrs (normal street fashion, not avant garde stuff). Otherwise it's mostly women and gay guys that use it.
Most straight guys use DeviantArt for their creative stuff.
I find that tumblr, like most spaces on the internet, is a platform/medium for personal expression - which is especially helpful to those who have difficulty expressing themselves in the "IRL" day to day life.
That would include (but not be limited to) homosexuals.
