Alicia and Beyonce are so different. Alicia can do no wrong and she appeals to everyone, basically. When Beyonce gets a #1 hit this era, and it has longevity, we can talk. That will probably happen, but I don't think it will sell seven figures first week. Period.

Yes. Considering Madonna & Mariah are not at the stature of Beyonce. Considering neither of them have even broken the 500k barrier, are not doing too well right, they are not even able to mentioned. Just because they are "legends" doesn't make their debuts the best ones.

No one has spoken about longevity...as you see this is FIRST WEEK.
Obviously people have Beyonce's default at 500,000 which is VERY stupid. "B'Day" sold 500,000 in September, with ONE SINGLE, and the TWO new singles are def gonna out do "Deja Vu".

I DON'T CARE. I am NOT hating on Beyonce when I say that it will NOT happen. Just for you, I'm raising my estimate to 800K, tops, but even that is more than what I think it'll do. Albums don't sell like they used to! And Beyonce has been gone for a year! That's a long time these days.
