Yes. I didn't even mean to do it, but when I was either 6, 7 or 8, I was at Walmart and we were getting groceries as usual. As I did a lot, I'd also get some candy while at the checkout. But for some reason I just held it in my hand and totally forgot to get it ringed up. So I just kept it tight in my hand and realized it as we were already walking away and everything was already paid for. Then we went past the security machines and nothing happened so we just went on our merry way.

security machines are awful. They only detect stuff that has those special tags on them. In other words, they're useless unless you're taking gigantic expensive things
